AN INTRODUCTION

As the newly elected Editor of the Norman Rea Gallery blog and contributing member of the Committee, I would like to introduce myself and situate briefly lay out my aims and focuses for this upcoming year.

My name is Matilda Bentley, and I am an incoming third year undergraduate studying History of Art. I aim to combine my passions in creative writing and art to expand this platform, from being one of varied foci, to narrowing down on specific areas of interest that closely tie in both with the gallery’s ventures both internally and externally. Particularly through this blog, greater links shall be made to the wider student network, including local artist, projects and startups. In an ever-growing world, with intense social media connections, it is very important to meld together platforms to produce newfound creative direction.
