Hello, my name is Sophie Austin and I am the treasurer for this upcoming academic year. I am currently in third year and have been apart of the Norman Rea Gallery since first year. I wanted to join Norman Rea as I study History of Art and thought that this society would perfectly suit my studies as well as meeting like minded people, (of which I have met many lovely people through this society). I wanted to be treasurer this year to have more of a concrete role in the gallery, and to understand what it takes to run a gallery, even though this is student led gallery, we are highly professional and are learning as we go along, hence being apart of the committee is an experience that is beneficial for the future.
