I’m a second-year student currently studying History of Art, volunteering for the role of Head of Press and Publicity for the Norman Rea Gallery. This role has enriched me in the pleasure of working alongside a great team, getting to understand what makes a gallery. Being able to fill in for the role, I was able to gain experience in the world of advertising, working in a team and simply learning the behind the scenes of a gallery. 

 

Through my love of social media (eg Instagram) I’ve been able to become a great asset to the gallery, promoting the space to a wider audience. Working with the Gallery has been a wonderful experience, enabling me with a full new set of skills. I hope to continue assisting with NRG next year, doing the best I can.
